Like it was cool, but just wrong in some way? I think the best quick destruction was little sawzall. When he had the bright blue squatted truck mulched, it was no joke a minute of mulching it on video. On the other hand, sometimes he just destroys it too quickly.
He roasts the truck, beats on it a little, then it is just the end of the video with absolutely 0 follow up. In the new squatted truck videos, such as the Alabama chromosomobile, it just feels boring. His new content just feels way too lackluster.

It was full of content and multiple experiments. We watched over multiple, detailed videos how it went from a truck to half a frame with two wheels. I'm really sure he's strapped for cash when he's able to offer a $300,000 reward on a 20+ year old skidloader.ĭecrease in production/missing parts: In comparison to his older videos, his new videos lack so much value. Why would he buy 2, R32s and then not post videos on them and plug merch or have sponsors in the videos? He's just losing more money by not posting. His content is not full of extreme edits so I am honestly not quite sure why his schedule has flopped so much.Ĭody made an Instagram post months ago saying that all his videos were demonetized, hence the lack of content/increase posting times, but I feel like this is an awful excuse. I'm sure he could easily pass it to an editor or sit down for a day and have 3 more videos to upload. I understand he has a lot on his plate in terms of a new property, divorce, and a bunch other, but he keeps mentioning in his videos how much content he has filmed that he has not uploaded yet. Over a year ago, you could expect 3-5 uploads a months, however, this past year has produced much less. Lack of content: This feeds into the next section, but in the past year, Cody's content has become much rarer, despite a decrease in production. It is just a business deal, not a true friendship, so he doesn't feel the same. In the R32 video, he more or less just filmed and then kind of fumbled over his words in the little he spoke to Cody. This makes the videos seem boring and less interactive. He is just there to film and nothing else. The new camera guy just feels like an employee. I think it definitely made Cody more fun as the two could bounce stuff off each other. Jason was able to interact with Cody in a way which added to the content of the video and added a spark hearing his reactions. Loss of Jason/Freed Diesel/other friends: No offense to the new camera guys or the Be Your Own Boss people, but they just do not have the same energy as old friends.
Good on him for trying to make more money, but I really wish he was more discrete with it, such as wearing a shirt and quickly saying "if you want this, go to my website." Imagine if you went to a concert and after the first song the artist began to rant for an extended period. I do care for Cody and his mental health, but his channel should not be the place to broadcast that. Yes, sometimes it is justified, such as trespassing or destruction of property, but most of the time it is just annoying. You would click on a 12-18 minute long video just expecting that, only to have half of that be content while the other half was just complete rants about hating being famous, how X social media is being unfair (despite it being a lie most times), or a drawn out sequence of merch items. Victim/hater rants/merch plugs: I think this was the start of the downfall. I'm going to break down what I mean chronologically. In my opinion, Cody's videos have been getting less entertaining and I've almost become annoyed at what he does sometimes. Throwaway since my other account contains personal info.
